Angela Maria Ani DiFranco - a Canadian as well as an American musician and singer. There are more than 20 albums. Her songs are classified by the label as alternative and folk. But, they are influenced by hip-hop music, jazz and punk. Ani DiFranco was among the first artist to establish her own label in 1990. Ani is widely considered to be a feminist icon. DiFranco born on 23 September 1970 in Buffalo, New York. She is the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross), who came across Dante Americo DiFranco while studying at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
