Durrani Popal relocating to Los Angeles after graduating with the goal of becoming well-known there. She was selected to take on the job of director of merchandise for the DASH store in Calabasas. The store moved to West Hollywood, California, in 2012. The store's temporary home located in Southampton, New York opened it's doors to the public at the beginning of 2014. She appeared in the spin-off series "Kourtney and Khloe in the Hamptons" while she was employed at the shop. The initial thought was that producers were trying to determine how the public would respond to a prospective spin-off, by showing the DASH team. Popal was announced to be the protagonist of a newly-created television series called 'Dash Dolls' that features the actress and her team. Durrani Popal has been influenced greatly by Kim Kardashian, and she finds her style of dressing inspiring. However, she does admire Khloe Kardashian, particularly the approach she took to a tough issue involving her lover Lamar Odom.
